Upon opening the doors to Interior Stone in the spring of 2001, the owners set out to create a self-sufficient stone company whose end product could only be influenced by its dedicated employees. By keeping all facets of the job in-house, Interior Stone is able to ensure a consistent product and timetable for each phase of every project.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for a great number of stone companies that still rely on subcontractors, open-ended quoting, and other corner-cutting tricks of the trade to help keep them competitive. Complicated practices such as these often leave much to be desired. Inaccurate lead times, unforeseen charges, and inconsistencies in craftsmanship that result from jobs passing through the hands of a mixed team are just some of the most common issues that arise.
In stark contrast to this approach, Interior Stone’s mission is simple: provide clients with an up-front analysis of the work and its associated costs from the start, and arm prospective customers who may be shopping around with the knowledge they need to sidestep subpar companies in the process. Because the last question an inferior shop wants you to ask is the right one.
